Maximum Volume

(Radio Profiles, Audio Settings)

HGDefinitionMob%26Port.jpg

Selects the radio's highest possible alert tone volume level. The Volume Offset (dB) field setting may override this setting (see below). DotGreen.png See also the Volume Adjust Tone Offset field setting. This selection applies to the current Radio Profile.

This setting must be higher than the Minimum Volume setting otherwise both fields become invalid.

DotBlue.png In order to have the radio's Maximum Volume (set in this field) at a constant level higher or lower than the radio's receive voice volume (set in the Maximum Audio Volume field) you must use the Volume Offset (dB) feature.

DotYellow.png When the Volume Offset (dB) feature is set to "0" (zero), the radio always uses the Maximum Audio Volume setting for this Maximum Volume, regardless of this Maximum Volume field's setting.
